Patrick's practice focuses on litigating cases in the state and federal courts across Texas and the nation.  Patrick has significant experience litigating complex business disputes and commercial transactions, including representing clients in state and federal courts in litigation involving commercial debt collection, garnishments, judgment collection matters, and judgment enforcement.   

Representative Commercial Debt and Judgment Collection Experience

  • Lead counsel for natural resource client in a dispute with a joint interest owner regarding unpaid joint interest benefit payments.  Representation included obtaining recovery of amount owed shortly after initiating litigation.
  • Lead counsel for electrical contracting client in a multi-state dispute involving unpaid amounts for subcontracting services provided on a military project.  Representation included obtaining a judgment for full recovery of the commercial debt and engaging in judgment collection efforts in multiple states.
  • Lead counsel for food service client in commercial debt matter involving non-payment of goods and services.  Representation included obtaining favorable settlement for client.
  • Lead counsel for large industrial manufacturing client in multiple commercial debt matters involving non-payment for goods.  Representation has included obtaining judgments on the commercial debt matters and judgment enforcement and collection efforts in multiple states.
