Leesa Logan | Associate

Leesa Logan began her legal career in 1992 as a legal assistant. During this time, she also began working on her Associate's degree in paralegal studies. She received her Associate's degree in December 1995 and continued to work as a civil litigation paralegal for several years. Although she enjoyed her career as a paralegal, Leesa wanted to be more involved in the cases and the trial process. She decided to return to school to earn a Bachelor's degree with the ultimate goal of applying for law school. In 1997, while continuing to work as a paralegal, Leesa returned to college attending evening classes. She graduated from college in December 1998 and applied for law school. Leesa began law school at SMU in the Fall of 2000. While attending law school, she worked as law clerk for a plaintiff’s litigation firm and as a student attorney and chief counsel in the SMU Legal Clinic.

Due to her experience as a paralegal, Leesa was able to start her own law practice directly out of law school and continued an active solo family law/general civil practice in Flower Mound, Texas for three years prior to joining a complex commercial litigation law firm in Dallas. Leesa has experience in many areas of civil and commercial litigation and personal injury litigation.
